start your first Blog on Blogger

Are you looking to start your first Blog on Blogger.com? Well then you’re in the right place. In this post i will guide you step by step to create your first blog. You can create blog for both personal and professional purpose. If you don’t know much about blogger, then let me explain you.

What is Blogger?

This is the question which every person ask who is new to blogging? I know about some people who are doing blogging but still they don’t know what is blogging. so Blogger is a blog publishing service which allow multi-user blogs. Blogger.com is a free service introduced by google in 2003. With your Gmail account, you sign up for blogger and you get your blog name with Domain BlogSpot.com i,e YourName.Blogspot.com.
In this post i will tell you the steps to create your first successful Blog.

Create a new Gmail account or login, if you already have a Gmail Account.

Simply go to Blogger publisher screen.

Now login with your existing Gmail account. After login, you will see a Welcome to Blogger screen which allow you to create your profile. There are 2 ways to create your profile. First way is to create profile on Google plus and the second way is to create a limited profile which will only be used for your blog. If you create the Google plus profile, you will be able to use it for both Google plus and Blogger profile.

After creating profile, you can create your first Blog. Just click on the new Blog Button

Now you are just one step away to create your first blog. When following screen will appear, Provide title and web address for your Blog.

Entre title of your blog, it will appear in browser’s tab and on website if you are not using logo. Title tells viewers and search engines about which the blog has written. Address is a unique name which you will use to get access to your website. let me explain you with example. YourName.Blogspot.com, here YourName is address which you will use for you blog. Because we are using free domain, so blogspot.com will be used with your blog address. you can buy your own custom domain to switch from blogspot.com to just .com, .Net, .Co, .Org etc. you can create up to 100 blogs per Gmail account.

You can also select a template for your blog. Blogger provides some free themes which you can install on your blog with a single click. There are thousands of other free and premium templates which are available on google.

Now click on the Button “Create Blog!” and your first blog in on web. Now the next step is to start your first post.
